Seven dwellings of the upper earth

Synopsis

Just as there are seven compartments in the lower earth, there are also compartments in the supernal realms. They are arranged on top of one another in parallel dimensions, beyond the range of human perception.

39. Similarly, there are seven compartments in the supernal earth, MALCHUT OF THE WORLD OF ATZILUT, SIMILAR TO THAT OF THE LOWER EARTH, DISCUSSED ABOVE AS MALCHUT OF ASIYAH. There are seven compartments above, IN MALCHUT, arranged one level on top of another. And in all those compartments reside supernal angels, one above the other, ACCORDING TO THEIR LEVEL. Similarly, there are angels below IN THE SEVEN LEVELS OF THE EARTH OF ASIYAH, and they all cling to one another so that they can be one. There are seven compartments above, IN THE WORLD OF ATZILUT, and the supernal earth, MALCHUT, includes them, and they reside in her. And they encompass the praise of the Holy One, blessed be He. NEVERTHELESS, the levels and their locations differ from one another.

39. כְּגַוְונָא דָא, אִית לְאֶרֶץ עִלָּאָה, שִׁבְעָה מְדוֹרִין אִינוּן לְעֵילָא, דַּרְגָּא עַל דַּרְגָּא, וּבְכָלְהוֹ מְדוֹרִין מַלְאֲכֵי עִלָּאֵי אִלֵּין עַל אִלֵּין. הָכֵי נָמֵי לְתַתָּא, וְכֹלָּא אָחִיד דָּא בְּדָא לְמֶהֱוֵי כֹּלָּא חָד. שִׁבְעָה מְדוֹרִין אִינוּן לְעֵילָא, וְהָא אֶרֶץ עִלָּאָה אֲחִידַת לוֹן, וְכָלְהוֹ קָיְימִין בָהּ, וּבְכָלְהוֹן קָיְימָא תּוּשְׁבַּחְתָּא דְּקֻדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא. דַּרְגִּין פְּרִישָׁן דָּא מִן דָּא. וְאַתְרִין פְּרִישָׁן דָּא מִן דָּא.
