The path that divides the hairs of Zeir Anpin

Synopsis

We are told that wailers and moaners emerge from the rough hairs on the head of Zeir Anpin, and that they spread a trap for the wicked who are not familiar with the paths of the precepts of the Torah.

127. Where the hairs OF ZEIR ANPIN divide, a way joins the path of the Ancient of Days (Atik Yomin) WHERE THE HAIRS DIVIDE, THAT IS, IT RECEIVES BOUNTY FROM IT, and all the paths of the precepts of the Torah part from it. All the wailers and moaners come out from every rough hair IN THE HAIR and spread a trap for the wicked who are not familiar with these paths. This is the meaning of, "The way of the wicked is like darkness" (Mishlei 4:19). From the rough hairs those who are weighing come out, as it is written, "All the paths of Hashem are mercy and truth" (Tehilim 25:10). It is all this way because they emerge from the concealed brain lobes of THE LEFT, CALLED the strong lights of the brain.

127. בְּפַלְגוּתָא דְּשַׂעְרֵי, מִתְאַחֲדָא חַד אוֹרְחָא, בְּאָרְחָא דְּעַתִּיק יוֹמִין, וּמִתְפָּרְשָׁן מִנֵּיהּ כָּל אוֹרְחוֹי דְּפִקּוּדֵי אוֹרַיְיתָא, כָּל מָארֵיהוֹן דִּיבָבָא וִילָלָא תַּלְיָין בְּכָל קוֹצָא וְקוֹצָא, וְאִינּוּן מַפְרִשִׁין רִשְׁתָּא לְחַיָיבַיָא, דְּלָא יַדְעִין אִינּוּן אָרְחִין. הה"ד, דֶּרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים כָּאֲפֵלָה. וְכָל אִלֵּין תַּלְיָין בְּקוֹצִין תַּקִּיפִין, ובג"כ כֻּלְּהוּ תַּקִּיפִין. וְאוֹקִימְנָא בְּאִינּוּן שְׁעִיעָן אִתְאַחֲדָן מָארֵיהוֹן דְּמַתְקְלָא, דִּכְתִּיב, כָּל אָרְחוֹת יְיָ' חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת. וְכָל כַּךְ, בְּגִין דְּמַשְׁכִין מִמּוֹחִין סְתִימִין דִּרְהִיטֵי דְּמוֹחָא.
