Synopsis

We hear that this Correction (formation) relates to strength and balance, like a brave man who does mighty deeds. That is Tiferet - power, might, and compassion.

295. The ninth Correction (formation): The hairs are joined in full weight with those hanging hairs and all are nicely even like a valiant mighty man who wins battles. Since all the hairs follow after those that hang, they are all generally included in those that hang, and all continue TO THE CHEST. Therefore, it is written: "The glory (Heb. Tiferet) of young men is their strength" (Mishlei 20:29). It is also written: "excellent as the cedars" (Shir Hashirim 5:15), meaning like a brave man who does mighty deeds. That is Tiferet, WHICH COMPRISES power, might and compassion.

295. תִּקּוּנָא תְּשִׁיעָאָה. דְּמִתְחַבְּרָן שַׂעְרֵי בְּשִׁקּוּלָא מַלְיָא, עִם אִינּוּן שַׂעְרֵי דְּתַּלְיָין, כֻּלְּהוּ בְּשִׁקּוּלָא שַׁפִּיר, כְּחַד גִּיבָּר תַּקִּיף, מָארֵי נַצְחָן קְרָבַיָּיא. מִשּׁוּם דְּכֻלְּהוּ שַׂעְרֵי אִתְמַשְּׁכָן בָּתַר אִינּוּן דְּתַלְיָין. וּכְלָלָא דְּכֻלְּהוּ בְּאִינּוּן דְּתַלְיָין. וְכֹלָּא אִתְמְשַׁךְ, וְעַל דָּא כְּתִיב, תִּפְאֶרֶת בַּחוּרִים כֹּחָם. כְּתִיב בָּחוּר כָּאֲרָזִים, כְּגִיבָּר עָבֵיד גְּבוּרָאן, וְדָא הוּא תִּפְאֶרֶת, חֵילָא וּגְבוּרְתָּא וְרַחֲמֵי.

296. תָּנָא, אר"ש כָּל הָנֵי תִּקּוּנִין, וְכָל הָנֵי מִלִּין, בָּעֵינָא לְגַלָּאָה לְמָארֵיהוֹן דְּאִתְּקָלוּ בְּמַתְקְלָא, וְלָא לְאִינּוּן דְּעָאלוּ, וְלָא נַפְקוּ אֶלָּא לְאִלֵּין דְּעָאלוּ וְנַפְקוּ, דְּכָל מָאֵן דְּעָיֵיל וְלָא נָפִיק, טַב לֵיהּ דְּלָא אִבְרֵי.
