Vayetze: Chapter 34

"I have not seen a just man forsaken"

Synopsis

This verse refers to the fact that a righteous person, even in exile, cannot be abandoned by the eternal Light of the Creator, regardless of the changes that are taking place in the supernal world.

Relevance

Sometimes, the presence of negativity in our environment is so intense, it can attach itself to even the most spiritual of people, even though it is unwarranted. However, through the Light of this passage, we can connect ourselves to a higher spiritual level where the negative vibrations of the physical environment are unable to exert any form of influence.
